The focus this year is on traditional acupuncture. More than 2.3 million acupuncture treatments are given in the UK and it’s one of the most popular complementary therapy.
So why choose traditional acupuncture?
Traditional acupuncture started in China and has developed over 2,500 years, possibly 5,000; it’s certainly not a short-lived fad. The British Acupuncture has over 3,000 members who are trained to degree level and are bound by strict guidelines in practise including safety, professional conduct and continued professional development. You can tell who is a member as they will have the letters MBAcC after their name.
About the needle?
