I am a fully qualified acupuncturist and member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), practicing in Chelmsford and Maldon. (Find my details HERE). I became a licensed and qualified acupuncturist in 2003 at the London Traditional College of Acupuncture (LCTA). After completing 3 years of training I then studied for a further year to complete a degree BSc(Hons) in acupuncture. After qualifying I worked for a short time in the Hangzhou Hospital, China.
As a practitioner I continue to advance my skills by attending post graduate training. In areas such as Advanced Needling Skills, as well as treating pain using the Balance Method under instruction of the now late Dr. Tan. In addition, attending a Nogiers’ auricular therapy (ear acupuncture). This course also focused on pain as well as scar tissue and mental/emotional problems.
I have an interest in fertility and pregnancy having also attended post-graduate training in these fields. My interest in fertility and pregnancy was as a direct result of the increasing numbers of men and women who came for help. Help to either conceive naturally or for supportive treatment whilst undergoing IVF or other fertility procedures.
